National organization cites January’s dedication to the law and the community
Phoenix, AZ – January Contreras, Democratic candidate for Arizona Attorney General, announced today that she received the endorsement of the National Latino Peace Officers Association.
Alan Alvarez, Chairman of the NLPOA-Advocacy organization wrote, “The NPLOA-Advocacy endorses Ms. January Contreras for Attorney General of Arizona because she had demonstrated the highest ideals of honor, integrity and truth. Ms. Contreras believes in the safety and security of our communities… [and she] is committed to bridging the gap between law enforcement and local communities."
“I am proud to have the support of the National Latino Peace Officers Association," Contreras said. “Together with local law enforcement leaders, I will continue my work to keep Arizona's families, children, and seniors safe."
The NPLOA is the latest in a list of law enforcement endorsements for January Contreras. January's campaign has announced endorsements from Santa Cruz County Sheriff Tony Estrada, Navajo County Sheriff KC Clark, Pima County Attorney Barbara LaWall, and Coconino County Attorney Bill Ring. In addition, former United States Attorney General, Eric Holder, endorsed Contreras last month.
